Père David’s Deer Hunting at 777 Ranch
Deer hunting is a very popular hunting activity that takes place in countries all over the world. For most people, deer hunting includes hunting deer that are native to their local area and are normally living in abundance. For some hunters, there is always the dream of catching a deer that is much more rare. One great trophy that many hunters would always like to go after is the Pere David’s deer.
The Pere David’s deer is a large adult deer that can grow to be as much as 375 pounds. This deer is also commonly referred to as the elaphure or milu. While it is a very large animal that used to flourish in certain areas of China, the Pere David’s deer population has continued to decline and it is essentially considered to be extinct in the wild. While it does not live in the wild as much anymore, there are still places where you can go to catch and hunt the Pere David’s deer.
