An African Hunting Experience in Texas
The 777 Ranch’s legendary reputation is due to the love and dedication of its owner, Jeff Rann. For more than 50 years, Jeff Rann has dedicated his life to being a wildlife conservationist and fulfilling the role of African Dangerous Game Professional Hunter. He has brought that wisdom, experience, and dedication with him to the 777 Ranch here in the U.S, and created something amazing.
Thanks to his admirable goal of bringing a little bit of Africa to Texas, he has brought together more than 60 species of native and exotic breeding herds from 80 countries and 5 continents. Though this incredible group of exotic animals has too many species to name, you can expect to find zebra, wildebeest, Thomson gazelle, scimitar horned oryx, Iranian red sheep, impala, buffalo, whitetail deer, and Barasingha deer hunting. Additionally, there are multiple lades that include some of the best Florida large mouth bass for fishing.
The region has a very high natural protein habitats, one of the highest in the United States. The Wahia bush that is located in South Texas is comparable to the South African Acacia bush. The Wahia bush is responsible for the impressive natural horn growth on the 777 Ranch.
