Waterbuck

The Waterbuck is a large antelope species native to the savannas and wetlands of sub-Saharan Africa. Recognized for their distinctive shaggy coat and white ring around their hindquarters these animals are well-adapted to their watery habitats. Waterbucks are social creatures, often found in herds near rivers and lakes, where they graze on grasses and browse on shrubs.
